Welcome to our farm! My name is Megan and my husband is BJ. We were blessed with a wonderful gift of some beautiful land and have been building our homestead ever since completing our farmhouse in 2017. Life is a bit crazy around here with three kiddos and an 11-acre property complete with gardens, fruit trees, chickens, and a house to manage, but I am oh so thankful. I enjoy cooking from scratch with home-grown food, building self-sufficiency skills, antique hunting, gardening, and historic architecture. Most importantly, I am humbly striving to each day to walk in Spirit and Truth through relationship with Christ Jesus. If any of these resonate with you, I would love nothing more than to share my journey as learn from each other!

Professionally, I am a trained architectural historian and preservationist. I work for a large consulting firm part-time (from home!) as an architectural historian conducting various surveys and environmental compliance for historic properties throughout North Carolina and the southeast. I am very familiar with the National Register of Historic Places nomination process, and am happy to help advise or direct you in your preservation project.
